Hi, I’m Val...

a product designer, problem-solver, and mountain-dweller.

I help teams design intuitive, human-centered digital experiences that simplify complex systems. I currently support a federal agency, improving the usability of enterprise applications that impact thousands of users, backed by a strong foundation in UX design and research.

I didn’t start my career in tech...and that’s one of my greatest strengths. My journey brings a unique perspective and a deeper understanding of the humans behind the screens.

Why I can make a difference

My fascination with cognitive science inspires me to design in ways that align with how humans think, reducing mental effort and creating intuitive experiences.

Thanks to my technical understanding, I collaborate confidently with developers to create designs that are feasible, responsive, and accessible from day one.
